Rooftop and Drinks
Hi, my loves! We’re going on another dinner date!
Let me be honest with y’all… I actually HATED this outfit from the jump. I wanted to cry tears before leaving the house. That’s how serious it was. Lol! Buuuuut… I fell in love with it after. Crazy, right?! I hate when that happens. Haha!
So, I’ve had this rust colour skirt from PLT for awhile now, and didn’t know how I was going to rock it. Initially, I thought it was going to be a bright orange, but when I received it and saw rust, I was pissed. Lol! My girl and I planned an outing and I knew I wanted to switch it up a bit. If you know me, you know I’m not really a fan of skirts and dresses, but this time I was willing to wear this skirt. To keep things simple, I paired it with this egg shell white coloured, button-up shirt from Zara. Seriously, it wasn’t hitting the way I wanted it to.
Let’s get into these heels tho! I purchased them from ASOS back in Summer ‘21. When I saw them , I knew I had to get them, but I didn’t know how I was going to style them. They stayed in my closet collecting dust. LOL! It was actually my mom that reminded me of these heels and told me they’d work with this fit. (Side note: I always consult my mom when it comes to my outfits. Lol! She always come through when I need her help/tips.) Yooooo! I tried on the entire fit with the heels, and it was over for me. Haha! BIIIIG shout outs to my mom for her good memory of my closet because I be forgetting some of the things I buy. Lol!
This night was a little chilly, so I draped my camel coat (not captured) over my shoulders to keep my warm and to still look classy. My hair in a high bun, gold accessories, and my nude Gucci purse… everything came together so well. :)
