Black History Month Event
Hi, my loves! So, I had the pleasure to attend an event curated for black creators in the city for Black History Month hosted by my girl Monique Smith. I knew I’d see my girlies along with other creators, so with that being said… WE WERE ALL GONNA LOOK CUTE! LOL!
For this particular look, I didn’t want to wear pants or jeans—was feeling to do something a lil’ different. But let me be honest with y’all, I had no idea what I was going to wear. I had no idea what I would’ve ended up wearing, but what came together was cute. I pulled out this black skirt from Zara and thought this would be perfect, especially because of the material and the fact that it’s still cold in the city. I wasn’t too sure about the top, so I headed to my favourite store (online)… ZARA! I found this beautiful blouse and snagged it quick. Now, online, I believe it said brown. It looked more brown and that’s what I was expecting, but once I received it and saw it in person, it wasn’t close to brown. This colour is giving rust, which I ain’t mad about.
I paired this look with my gold heels from Zara, along with some gold jewelry, and grabbed my Balenciaga handbag. It wasn’t photographed, but I was also wearing a black coat from Zara and added this cute iced out, gold crocodile brooch on the coat. This look was giving RICH, honey! I love it!
I still can’t believe I was in Zara from head to toe. Lol! The earrings, the blouse, the skirt, the heels, the coat, and the brooch. Whew, chile! I need to give Zara a break and go somewhere else. Hahaha!
